This meeting was hosted by NetStream Communications at their Atlanta Buckhead data center (map & directions). We enjoyed their refreshments and a tour of this 98,000 SF, tier-3 data center. This center's tenants include VoIP carriers, CLEC’s, and other major companies.
We also had three drawings for free hosting at their new Capital Internet Sandy Springs data center for a 2U server space for a year including power and bandwidth. This site offers collocation for individual rack spaces, partial or full cabinets, customized cage space, and private data center suites. The winners were Bill Rau of Cohutta Com, Jeff Silberberg with CompuDesigns and Jim Caperton of Crimefree.
Both Matt McCarthy, VP of Sales, mmcarthy@netstreamcom.net and Evan Salzer, VP of Data Center Sales, esalzer@netstreamcom.net gave a great presentation and tour. They also announced their new association with CommPartners which provides NetStream tenants with an excellent connection to CommPartners' VoIP SuperPOP via NetStream's fiber ring. Dick Reynolds and Scott Miller of CommPartners made this presentation of their products and services.
