Remember we meet at 9:00AM, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Georgia Tech Klaus Advanced Computing building for the Third Annual Atlanta Asterisk Install Fest and Conference. Asterisk is now in prime time! This year’s emphasis is on putting Asterisk to work for you.
We will have a two track program. In the first lecture hall we will have the traditional Installation Fest activities. The installers will have the whole installation and configuration process on display on the lecture hall screen. In the other lecture hall we will have the Conference track with developer and vendor presentations.
Confirmed presenters and vendors include Sangoma, Digium, Pika, Snom, Aastra and NerdVittles with Ward Mundy and PBX in a Flash’s Tom King.

1.) Use good passwords !! Not the extension Number or 1234 or such. I would recommend at least 8 characters..

The Atlanta Asterisk User Group will meet at CBeyond’s Atlanta Sales office on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 (we are no longer homeless). The meeting will start at 7 pm, Eastern time.
We are planning a round table discussion on different ways to secure Asterisk based servers and CBeyond will spend a few minutes discussing their VOIP products.
